Hergen Böttcher

Giving new life to old trees.Over the last years, Hergen Böttcher collected a variety of woods from and around Bremen.  Sometimes from private gardens. Sometimes from riverside.Hergen Böttcher, who loves trees, seeks for beauty in natural colour and uneven texture of wood. He decides the shape of mills according to the characteristics of wood.Some mills have black lines. He also uses wood with cracks by filling with elastic sealant.Each mill is an unique artwork telling the story of old tree.
